1. About JustDeliver
JustDeliver.ie is an online marketplace that connects customers who need items delivered with independent drivers who provide delivery services. We are not a delivery company — we provide the platform that makes the connection possible. All deliveries are carried out by independent drivers, not by JustDeliver.
2. User Responsibilities
By using JustDeliver, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account and posting jobs
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Treat other users with respect and professionalism
- Provide accurate descriptions of the items being transported, including size, weight, quantity, and any special handling requirements
3. Driver Status & Insurance
All drivers on JustDeliver operate as independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of JustDeliver.
Drivers are solely responsible for:
- Their own taxes and financial obligations
- Maintaining their vehicle in a roadworthy condition
- Holding any licences required by law
- Maintaining valid motor insurance and any other insurance required to carry out delivery services
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
JustDeliver does not provide insurance cover for drivers, vehicles, or goods being transported.
3.1 Driver Profile Photo Policy
Drivers are not permitted to upload profile photos containing business logos, company branding, phone numbers, email addresses, website URLs, QR codes, social media handles, or any other contact details.
Profile photos must be used solely to identify the driver and must not be used for advertising or promoting services outside the JustDeliver platform.
Any driver found to be using a profile photo that breaches this policy may have the image removed and may receive a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension of their account, at JustDeliver's discretion.
4. How Jobs Work
- Customers post a delivery job with pickup and drop-off details, item description, and preferred delivery window
- Drivers browse available jobs and submit price offers (bids)
- The customer reviews offers and chooses which driver to accept
- Once accepted, the driver completes the delivery and confirms it using a 6-digit verification code
- Customers and drivers are responsible for ensuring all job details are accurate before accepting a booking
5. Payments & Fees
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Customers pay the driver's bid plus a Booking & Security Fee at the time of accepting an offer
- Drivers receive their bid amount minus a Driver Platform Access Fee, paid out via Stripe Connect after the delivery is completed and verified
- JustDeliver does not handle cash — all transactions are fully cashless
- Maximum delivery value on the platform is €1,200. Jobs or items valued above this amount are not permitted
5.1 Customer — Booking & Security Fee
Added on top of the driver's bid. Covers secure payments, verified drivers, fraud prevention, customer support, dispute handling, and the 24-hour refund protection window.

5.2 Driver — Platform Access Fee
Deducted from the driver's payout. Funds platform infrastructure, dispute resolution, payout processing, marketing, verification services, and ongoing platform development.

Example: A driver bids €25 → the customer pays €31 (€25 + €6 Booking & Security Fee) and the driver receives €25.
A driver bids €1,200 → the customer pays €1,212 and the driver receives €1,140 after the €60 Platform Access Fee.
Fees may change from time to time. Current fees are always displayed before payment is taken.
6. Refund Policy
JustDeliver aims to provide a fair and secure experience for both customers and drivers.
Customers may be entitled to a full refund, including the Booking & Security Fee, if:
- A driver fails to arrive for collection without reasonable notice
- A driver accepts a job but does not complete the agreed delivery
- JustDeliver determines that the delivery service was not provided
Refund requests should be submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time.
The Booking & Security Fee helps fund secure payments, fraud prevention, dispute handling, customer support, and refund protection. However, where a delivery service is not provided, customers may receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
JustDeliver reserves the right to investigate refund requests before issuing a refund.
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear depending on the customer's bank or card provider.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Before acceptance: Customers may cancel or remove a job at any time before accepting a driver's offer at no cost
- After acceptance: Once payment has been processed, cancellations may not be eligible for a full refund
- Drivers who repeatedly cancel accepted jobs may have their accounts reviewed, restricted, or suspended
8. Liability, Damage & Loss
JustDeliver acts solely as a platform connecting customers and independent drivers.
JustDeliver is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to items during transit
- Delivery delays
- The actions, conduct, or reliability of drivers or customers
- Disputes between users
- Damage caused by inadequate packaging
- Indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from a delivery
Customers acknowledge that deliveries are carried out by independent drivers and use the platform at their own risk.
Drivers are responsible for the services they provide and for any damage caused through their actions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring items are packaged appropriately for transportation.
JustDeliver does not insure goods in transit and accepts no responsibility for claims relating to lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged items.
Users are encouraged to communicate clearly and resolve issues directly. JustDeliver may assist where possible but does not guarantee outcomes.
9. Prohibited Items
The following items must not be listed, transported, or arranged through JustDeliver:
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Hazardous, flammable, explosive, or dangerous materials
- Stolen goods
- Weapons or ammunition
- Cash, bank cards, or negotiable financial instruments
- Jewellery, precious metals, or precious stones
- Live animals
- Human remains
- Prescription medication
- Tobacco or vaping products
- Alcohol
- Any item prohibited under Irish or EU law
JustDeliver reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any account where prohibited items are suspected.
10. Account Suspension
JustDeliver reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any account involved in:
- Fraud or misrepresentation
- Abuse, harassment, or threatening behaviour
- Repeated policy violations
- Attempting to bypass platform fees or payment systems
- Posting prohibited items
- Activity that places other users or the platform at risk
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of JustDeliver following publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
